How to Collect Guest Emails

What is Email Collection?

NINEMAGS LIVE allows you to collect guest email addresses when they enter your event.

When enabled, guests will be asked to provide their email before or after uploading photos — depending on your settings.

Collected emails are stored in your Dashboard and can be exported at any time.


Why Collect Guest Emails?

Collecting emails allows you to:

  • Let guests easily find their photos after the event
  • Build your customer email list
  • Follow up with marketing campaigns
  • Track which guests uploaded which images
  • Reprint specific customer photos if needed

Step 1: Enable Email Collection

  1. Go to Events
  2. Open your event
  3. Click Settings
  4. Scroll to the Emails section
  5. Toggle Collect Emails ON


Step 2: Choose When to Collect Emails

You can decide when guests are asked to provide their email:

Option 1 — Welcome screen optional

Guests can enter their email on the welcome screen, but it is not required.

Option 2 — Welcome screen required

Guests must enter their email before accessing the event.

Option 3 — After photo upload

Guests are asked to enter their email after uploading a photo.

Select the option that fits your workflow, then click Save Changes.

What Guests See

If enabled, guests will see an email field like this on the event page:

  • They can enter their email address
  • The system links their uploaded images to that email
  • This helps them find their photos later

Where to View Collected Emails

All collected emails appear in:

Dashboard → Customers

There you can see:

  • Email address
  • Join date
  • Number of uploaded images
  • Events associated with that email

You can also:

  • Click on an event to view related uploads
  • Export the full email list using the Export button


Filtering Uploads by Email

Inside the event:

  1. Go to Uploads
  2. Use the Email filter
  3. Select a specific email address

You will now see only the images uploaded by that guest.

From there, you can:

  • Review their photos
  • Print only their images
  • Use the Print All button if needed

This makes it easy to manage reprints or customer-specific requests.

Important Notes

  • Email collection must be enabled per event
  • You can choose whether email entry is optional or required
  • Emails are automatically linked to uploaded images
  • All data can be exported from the Dashboard
