How to Set Photo Upload Limits
This guide explains how to control how many photos guests can upload during an event. You can limit uploads per user or set a total limit for the entire event.
These settings help prevent spam uploads, control printing volume, and manage production costs.
Step 1 — Open Event Settings
Go to Events and open the event you want to configure.
In the left sidebar, click Settings.

Step 2 — Set User Photo Limits (Per Guest)
In the User photo limits section, you can restrict how many photos each guest is allowed to upload.
- Enable Limit photo uploads per user.
- Enter the maximum number of photos one user can upload.
For example:
1— each guest can upload only one photo3— each guest can upload up to three photos0— unlimited uploads per user

Step 3 — Set Event Photo Limits (Total for the Event)
In the Event photo limits section, you can limit the total number of photos that can be uploaded during the entire event.
- Enable Limit photo uploads per event.
- Enter the maximum number of photos allowed for the event.
Once this limit is reached, no more uploads will be accepted.
For example:
100— the event will accept up to 100 photos in total0— unlimited uploads for the entire event

Step 4 — How Limits Work Together
You can use user limits, event limits, or both at the same time.
Examples:
-
User limit = 2, Event limit = 50
→ Each guest can upload up to 2 photos, but the event stops at 50 total uploads.
-
User limit = unlimited, Event limit = 200
→ Guests can upload freely until the event reaches 200 photos.
When any limit is reached, guests will see a message explaining that uploads are no longer available.
Tips & Recommendations
- Use per-user limits for public events or QR-based uploads.
- Use event limits if you want to control total printing volume.
- For private or small events, limits can often be left unlimited.
