Pre-Launch Checklist: Make Sure Everything Works

This checklist helps you quickly verify that a product using NINEMAGS is fully ready for sale and that customers won’t face any issues during purchase.

1. Product Check (Shopify)

Make sure the product itself is correctly set up.

✅ The product is created and published

✅ All required variants are added

✅ All variants use the same customization logic

(If variants require different logic, separate templates are needed)

2. Shopify Product Template Check

Verify that the Shopify product template is configured correctly.

✅ A separate product template is created for NINEMAGS products

✅ The NINEMAGS button block is added to the template

✅ The button is placed near the Buy buttons

✅ The NINEMAGS product template is not the Default product template

3. NINEMAGS Product Mapping Check

Check that the product is properly linked inside the NINEMAGS app.

✅ The product is selected in NINEMAGS → Products

✅ All required variants are checked

✅ The correct Product Template is selected

✅ All changes are saved

4. Image Upload Check

Open the product page on the storefront and verify the upload flow.

✅ The Upload pictures button is visible

✅ Images can be uploaded successfully

✅ The product cannot be added to cart without uploading images

✅ Uploaded images are saved correctly

5. Cart & Preview Check

Add the product to the cart and check the preview behavior.

✅ Image previews are visible in the cart

✅ The Edit button is displayed

✅ Clicking Edit opens image editing

✅ Changes are saved without re-adding the product to the cart

💡 Tip

Always place one test order after:

• changing the Shopify theme
• adding or modifying product variants
• updating a product template

This ensures everything works as expected for real customers.
