Working with Uploaded Photos
After a customer uploads photos and completes the order, all images are saved and become available to the store owner for review and further work.
Where you can see uploaded photos
Customer-uploaded photos are available to the merchant in several places.
1. In the NINEMAGS interface (file preview)
Where:
Shopify Admin → Apps → NINEMAGS → Orders
How it works:
- Open Apps → NINEMAGS → Orders in the Shopify admin.
- In the orders list, you will see the Images column.
- Click a link such as Images #1 / Images #2.
- A preview window with uploaded files for this order will open.

This view allows you to quickly check uploaded images.
2. Viewing photos directly inside the Shopify order
You can also view uploaded photos directly from the order details in Shopify.
How it works:
- Open the order in Shopify Admin.
- Scroll to the product details section.
- You will see image group data with a link to uploaded files (hosted on ucarecdn.com).
- Click the image group link — a separate window will open showing all uploaded images in this group.

This is a convenient way to preview customer images directly from the order, without switching to NINEMAGS Orders or Dropbox.
3. Dropbox (main workspace)
All uploaded photos and files are automatically saved to Dropbox, inside the folder related to the specific order.
Standard order folder structure:
- source — original images uploaded by the customer
- print — ready-to-print files
- printing — files currently in production
- printed — files that have already been printed
How to use photos after the order
-
For a quick preview, use
Apps → NINEMAGS → Orders → Images.
-
To check original image quality, open the source folder in Dropbox.
For production and printing, always use files from the
printfolder:
- These files are print-ready
- No additional processing is required
Important notes
- Customer-uploaded photos cannot be changed after the order is placed.
- Customers do not have access to print-ready files.
- NINEMAGS interface is best for previewing images.
- Dropbox is the main workspace for production and printing.
- Always use files from the print folder for manufacturing.
