Customer Photo Upload in NINEMAGS

Photo upload is the step where customers add their images to create a custom photo magnet after NINEMAGS is installed.

Once NINEMAGS is installed, a special upload block appears directly on the product page.

This is not a separate button, but a full interactive block embedded into the product page.

How Photo Upload Works

  1. The customer opens a product page in your store.
  2. The NINEMAGS block linked to this product is displayed on the page.
  3. Inside this block, the customer clicks Upload pictures.
  4. The image upload window opens.
  5. The customer uploads photos from any device.

  6. After all images are uploaded, the customer confirms the selection.

    NINEMAGS generates a Product Preview, where:

  • all uploaded images are displayed,
  • the crop area and working area of the product are shown.
  1. After confirming the Preview, the customer clicks Add to cart.

Product Preview Stage

Before the product is added to the cart, the customer always sees a Product Preview.

In the Product Preview:

  • all uploaded images are shown,
  • the customer can see how images fit into the magnet format,
  • cropping and positioning are visible.

Only after confirming the Preview can the product be added to the cart.

Cart and Order Placement

After clicking Add to cart.

  1. The product is added to the cart.

    In the cart, the customer can see:

  • a preview of the product,
  • all uploaded images.
  1. The customer can still make changes to the selected images.
  2. The final step is checkout and order placement.

⚠️ Photo upload and Preview confirmation always happen before the product is added to the cart and are a required part of the ordering process.

Important Things to Know

  • The customer interacts only with the NINEMAGS block, not with a standalone button.
  • The customer always sees a Preview before adding the product to the cart.
  • All uploaded images are saved and attached to the order.
  • The customer does not see the print-ready preview — it is available only to the store owner.

Photo Requirements

To ensure correct preview display and high-quality print results, uploaded images should meet the following requirements.

  • File formats: JPG / JPEG / PNG / HEIC
  • Resolution: High-quality images recommended (original files, no compression)
  • Aspect ratio: Any — images are automatically adapted to the magnet format
  • File size: Up to 20 MB per image
  • Color space: RGB

NINEMAGS uses the original images uploaded by the customer and does not enhance or upscale image quality.
