Payments — Connecting Stripe
Stripe is the payment system your store uses to accept payments. Without connecting Stripe, customers won't be able to place orders. This guide shows how to connect your Stripe account to NINEMAGS Pages and make sure everything works.
💡 Stripe is not required for test orders. If you want to try the full order flow before setting up payments, you can do so without connecting Stripe — test orders are processed automatically. Connect Stripe when you're ready to accept real payments from customers.
Step 1. Open the Payments Section
In the sidebar menu, go to Settings → Payments. You'll see the Stripe connection status and the Connect Stripe.

Step 2. Click Connect Stripe
Click the green Connect Stripe button. You'll be redirected to the Stripe website, where you'll need to fill in your business information.
💡 What will Stripe ask for?
Stripe will ask for your business information: type of business, address, and bank details for payouts. Fill in all the fields Stripe requests — we don't control this process, but it's standard and takes just a few minutes.
⚠️ Important
Make sure to fill in all required fields on the Stripe side. If you skip anything, the connection will be incomplete — Charges and Payouts will remain in "Not enabled" status.
Step 3. Check Connection Status
After completing the Stripe setup, you'll return to NINEMAGS Pages. Now in the Payments section, you'll see the connection status.
If the setup is incomplete
You'll see a Connected status, but Charges and Payouts will have red icons showing Not enabled. This means Stripe still requires additional information.
Click the Continue Setup button to return to Stripe and complete the remaining information.

If everything is filled in correctly
You'll see a Connected status with green checkmarks:
✅ Charges: Enabled
✅ Payouts: Enabled
This means your store is ready to accept payments and receive payouts.

Step 4. Fill in Tax Settings (Business Address)
Further down on the same Payments page, you'll find the Tax Settings section. Here you need to enter your head office address — this is required for accurate tax calculations.
Fill in the fields: Address Line 1, City, State, Postal Code, Country.

Done!
Stripe is connected, and your store is ready to accept payments. If you need to update your information in the future, use the Update Details or View Dashboard buttons in the Payments section.
