4. End-to-end workflow: from product to order


This is the typical workflow when using NINEMAGS with Shopify.

Step 1: Create a product in Shopify

  • You create a product (for example, a 2×2 photo magnet)
  • You set the product name, price, description, and other settings

Step 2: Connect NINEMAGS

  • You install the NINEMAGS app in your Shopify store
  • You assign a NINEMAGS template to the product
  • The product page automatically displays the photo upload interface

Step 3: Customer uploads a photo

  • The customer uploads their photo directly on the product page

    NINEMAGS automatically:

    • crops the image,
    • resizes it,
    • shows a preview on the product

Step 4: Customer places the order

  • After confirming the preview, the customer completes checkout
  • Payment and shipping are handled by Shopify as usual

Step 5: Order processing

  • The order appears in Shopify together with the prepared files
